Commodity guide · electronics
Boxed consumer electronics typically rate class 92.5 - 125 (6 - 12 pcf); dense rack equipment can rate class 85.
Electronics ship in protective packaging that adds a lot of cube: desktop computers and boxed appliances commonly land at 10 - 12 pcf (class 92.5), lighter retail-boxed goods at 6 - 10 pcf (class 100 - 125). Loaded server racks and UPS units are denser and can reach class 85 or better.
Worked example. A pallet of boxed desktop computers: 48 × 40 × 45 in, 520 lb. That is 50.0 cu ft and 520 lb → 10.40 pcf → class 92.5. Run your own numbers →

Liability matters here more than for most freight: high value per pound and theft exposure mean some electronics items class above pure density. Declare values honestly and confirm the NMFC item for anything expensive.
